Local Law 152 (LL152) is the city's gas pipe law. A licensed master plumber has to inspect a building's gas piping every 4 years. Buildings that don't file get a violation, and the managing agent has to hire a plumber.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from BuildDocket and other lead lists?
Lead lists charge per trade per borough and share each lead with many firms. We list buildings with an open Local Law 152 gas pipe violation (the inspection is required by law), grouped by the managing agent who hires. One price covers all five boroughs. Each building goes to no more than 5 plumbers, and the list updates twice a day.
Where does the data come from?
From the city's own records: Department of Buildings (DOB) violations and permits, and Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) registrations, which name each building's managing agent. Every building links to the record that put it on your list.
Do you have phone numbers?
The city publishes no phone numbers for owners or agents. When we find a managing agent's office number on their own website or a public business listing, we show it and say where it came from. We never guess.
What happens when a building files its inspection?
We re-check every building twice a day. When the violation closes, it drops off your list. When someone files a job there, we mark it.
How many plumbers get the same building?
No more than 5. Firms whose past jobs are nearest get it first.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel anytime from your account page before your trial ends and you pay nothing.
